Il intègre un système de script et de programmation utilisateur. Ce qui place Dr. Geo à part des autres logiciels de géométrie interactive est la possibilité d'étudier et même de modifier/étendre le logiciel (son code source) depuis lui-même alors qu'il est en fonctionnement.
